Classes are for anyone 15 and over. Simply turn up wearing something comfortable to move in. Sweat pants or shorts work well, trainers and a t-shirt will take care of the rest. The class will run roughly two and a half hours, and you’ll get an idea of what it is we do. Some of it is hands-on, and some of it is lecture-style. By the end of it, you will know more about self-defense than any average person. Why is that good for you? Because you’re now an informed individual and not buying into something just because it looked cool in a movie. You’ll have learned a few simple techniques that will work for you immediately upon leaving the class. We do that mainly to show you how fast and effective our system is. But it’s also nice knowing you have a couple of tricks up your sleeve should you ever need them.

The Difference Between Fighting And Self Defense

You’ll learn the difference between learning how to fight and learning self-defense. That’s important because many people don’t realize there’s a difference and get roped into learning how to fight and wasting a lot of time and money as a result.  We’ll show you the five criteria for learning self-defense. That way, if you’re shopping around for classes, you’ll know whether someone is worth training with or not.

We’ll also go over the schedule, the gear you need, and how fast you can expect to progress. We also talk about supplementary training, seminars, and workshops and answer any other questions you might have. Oh, and we’ll also talk about the teen classes and what they can expect to cover. You’ll have fun, you’ll learn a ton of useful information, and you might even meet a new friend.

Finally, we’ll also teach you our proprietary exercises so that, if you decide to join, you’ll slot right into class and not embarrass yourself.

We like introducing people to our program this way as opposed to people coming in during the week on an ad hoc basis. That’s because those proprietary exercises take a while to explain, and we’d have to disrupt classes while bringing you up to speed. Also, this way, you join as part of a group, just like you would in the military. Now you don’t have to be the lone “new guy” feeling out of place.

Some people opt to join after all of this, and if you do, we can take care of that on the spot. If you, or we, decide we’re not a good fit, then you’ll leave at least a little bit smarter than when you woke up that morning.
